CPP Identity Protection is a comprehensive insurance policy that gives you the tools to check that you haven't become a victim of identity theft, to monitor your ongoing safety and to resolve your case if the worst happens.

1. Check
We'll let you know which websites, public databases and illegal data-trading sites hold information about you, and why.

We'll give you unlimited access to your credit report online.

If you have any concerns you'll have access to our experts on our identity theft helpline, whenever you need them.

2. Control
We'll constantly monitor the information on the internet about you.

We'll even check with Royal Mail to make sure that post in your name isn't being illegally redirected.

We'll send you an alert if there are any significant changes to your credit report.

3. Confidence
If your identity is stolen, you'll have up to £60,000 of insurance available to cover legal and other costs associated with restoring your good name.  All we ask is that you contact us before incurring any costs.

A CPP Identity Protection personal fraud expert will help you to resolve the fraud and restore your credit status.

If you need time off work, Identity Protection will provide up to £500 per week for up to six weeks.

You'll also have up to £200 to replace your lost or stolen passport or driving licence.

We don't cover pre-existing cases but we would still provide you with a personal fraud expert to help resolve the problem.
